Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’m a mom of two amazing kids, four very loved fur babies, and I’ve been married to my best friend for 16 years (together for 23 yrs)

I joined the online book community in April 2022 after a long mental health journey. Like many people, COVID was a really difficult time for me. During that period, reading slowly became my therapy. Discovering BookTok and Bookstagram helped me fall in love with reading all over again.

When I was younger, I read constantly. But as life got busier and my anxiety grew, reading slowly took a back seat. Eventually I stopped reading almost entirely because I just couldn’t focus.

Finding books again changed everything.

Reading has truly become a huge part of my life — honestly, it’s basically my personality now. I just want to talk about books all the time! The book community has been such an incredible and supportive space, and it even inspired me to open my own book merch Etsy shop, Red Roots Bookish Boutique. I absolutely love creating bookish items for fellow readers and sharing my passion for stories with others.

I’m a mood reader and gravitate toward romance, fantasy, romantasy, and mystery thrillers.

When I’m not reading or working on my shop, you’ll probably find me drawing, adding more books to my TBR, or chatting about fictional characters like they’re real people.
